Bush, Carter, Popes and Jews

I'm about halfway through a recently released book called A Most Holy War: The Albigensian Crusade and the Battle for Christendom, published 2008 by Mark Gregory Pegg.

Two particular characters might even sound familiar:

"Innocent III (Lotario di Segni - 1160/61-1216) Elected pope in 1198 and exhorted Christain knights to expunge the Provenal heretics from the lands of the count of Toulouse in a mighty crusade in 1208. He envisioned himself 'below God but above man, less than God but greater than man, who judges all things but who no one judges.' "

"Amaury de Monfont (died 1228) Incompetent and uninspiring eldest son of Simon de Monfort. He succeeded his father in 1218 and conducted the holy war in a determinedly woeful manner. Easily manipulated by the pope, the count of Toulouse, and the king of France."

What's even more interesting is the timing:
The White House:
Event Backgrounder: The Visit of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to the White House
The President and Mrs. Bush will welcome His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to our Nation’s Capital on April 15-18, 2008. This is the first visit of His Holiness to the United States since he became Pope. Pope Benedict XVI is only the second Pontiff to visit The White House. His Holiness Pope John Paul II was welcomed to The White House by President Jimmy Carter on October 6, 1979.
Today's commentary resulted from having received two interesting emails this morning from a respected source, who recommended that I read War And Peace: Jimmy Carter Talks To Hamas And All Hell Breaks Loose," then followed by: The Most Wanted List, International Terrorism, by Noam Chomsky.

To me, the first is of the opinion that Zionist/Jews are the problem and the second is written by a person with Jewish background.

Personally, I've felt from the beginning of this web site that we waste our time, effort and money raging against Zionist/Jews. There are sociopaths that have taken over the leadership of every major religious, education and government institution. Sociopaths come in flavors of Jews, Catholics, Protestants, atheists, etc. We only need to identify them as men (and women) who's actions do not match their words. That's why most of us are now upset about having to choose which sociopath will be our next president.

The definition I use for the term "sociopath" and for recommended books that offer an explanation of this term, you will find more information here.

Robert D. Hare describes sociopaths as, "Intraspecies predators who use charm, manipulation, intimidation, and violence to control others and to satisfy their own selfish needs. Lacking in conscience and in feelings for others, they cold-bloodedly take what they want and do as they please, violating social norms and expectations without the slightest sense of guilt or regret."
It had to happen simply because sociopaths have that Type-A behavior and skills we seem to admire. They can apply more energy to any position simply because they don't worry nor care for anyone. That's why they more or less abandon their families for their pursuits.

However, an overwhelming majority of non-sociopaths (which some books claim that it's 25 to 1) are not doing their part in limiting the extent of this behavior against their own well-being.

Just imagine your town's bully being financed by your town's largest bank. Now imagine everyone continuing to bank there, while directly suffering from the bully's actions. I know we don't think about it and I'm as guilty as others. I'm trying to correct that, now!

Competition, capitalism, and striving to be a little better than yesterday is admirable and worthwhile. For example, a craftsman that makes a fine piece of furniture generally strives to maintain his quality, and also sees if perhaps he can do a better job next time and ask for more money. If it's not worthwhile, the market has told him enough is enough, and that they don't wish to pay more.

The sociopath is one who steals the craftsman's production by deliberately ordering production and then does not pay (which is possible in many ways.) We would call that lyin' and stealin', no? Then why do most people admire hedge fund leaders who soak up a billion dollars in one year, yet produce nothing? There was nothing to trade, or both sides of the trade would benefit in some way.

If we want to live in a casino, then folks should expect the house to win. I didn't want to live in a casino, but find myself there anyway. Now I realize I've participated in this conversion, just like millions of others. And when millions of others have had enough of this, we will be more active in our community and take out these weeds before they grow powerful enough to swipe the fruits of our labor. Just like a neglected garden, it's going to take one hell of a lot more effort to get the garden back in shape because it has been neglected for so long. But we already know that it will be worthwhile.

Then news articles like this would not be appearing in our major newspapers: Administration Set to Use New Spy Program in U.S.
